Objective
To provide hospitality management students with a body of knowledge which will:
a) increase their employment opportunities
b) prepare them for eventual supervisory positions within the hospitality industry
c) provide them with the knowledge required for higher level studies.
Course Applicants
The course is suitable for those with either limited or no prior knowledge or experience of the industry. The college places students on work placement with reputable hotels within the Limerick region throughout the academic year. Students are graded prior to sending out on work placement. The hotels may also interview students before accepting students on placement and will have a report of progress completed on each student.
