Objective

The programme extends the knowledge obtained at certificate level and concentrates on providing students with the additional knowledge, skills and techniques required for the efficient management of hotel & catering operations.

Course Applicants

The course is suitable for those with either limited or no prior knowledge or experience of the industry. The college places students on work placement with reputable hotels within the Limerick region throughout the academic year.  Students are graded prior to sending out on work placement. The hotels may also interview students before accepting students on placement and will have a report of progress completed on each student.
