The Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) programme leads to a vocational qualification based on national standards of competence, which allows graduates to competently support the work of professional accountants, as well as business managers in all aspects of the financial sector.

Candidates who successfully gain the CAT qualification have demonstrated that they can work effectively in accounting support roles in all sectors of business. On completion you will be able to use the letters CAT after your name.

You will be awarded certificates and a diploma along the way as you complete the exams. On completion of exams FA1 & MA1; Introductory Certificate in Financial & Management Accounting. FA2 & MA2; Certificate in Financial & Management Accounting. FAB, FMA & FFA; Diploma in Accounting & Business
Progression: Successful completion of the CAT examinations offers an exemption from the three Knowledge papers of the ACCA Qualification.
