ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management)
The ILM Level 5 Award in Social Impact Assessment aims to develop the skills, knowledge and understanding needed by managers, directors, trustees and those who provide advice to implement social impact assessment procedures.
This concise, single unit qualification commences with an overview of the concept of social enterprise and the measurement of social impact. Participants then look at the types and definitions of Key Performance Indicators, identifying those relevant to all ethically motivated businesses. In the final element of the unit, participants set up and employ a data collection system to monitor performance of a social enterprise’s impact against relevant benchmarks.
